  • THE Tanzanian government has deployed 594 ambulances to health facilities across all councils in the country as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen emergency medical services and improve access to healthcare.
    The Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office for Regional Administration and Local Government (PMO-RALG) responsible for Health, Dr Jafar Seif, announced this to lawmakers in Dodoma today, February 3, 2026, noting that additional vehicles are expected to be allocated to health centres as they become available from the Ministry of Health.
